President's Column | August 2025

As summer begins to wind down, a familiar rhythm returns. Baseball and soccer seasons wrap up, evenings grow quieter, and my boys—ages 14, 11, and 11—are making the most of every last moment of summer here in Wisconsin. Late-night swims, backyard games, and ice cream runs remind me how special this time of year is—a blend of calm, joy, and the sense that something new is just ahead.

I'm proud to work with a team of "Twizzlers" who've made SDPA DIGITAL an incredibly engaging and educational virtual conference, and I can't wait to "see" you all there.

I encourage you to never believe you are "just a PA," as our profession consistently shatters expectations, and I look forward to connecting with you all at SDPA DIGITAL 2020 in October.
