Dear Colleagues,

It’s the end of October, and I hope you were able to celebrate how amazing you are during PA Week at the beginning of my favorite month. I want to remind you that the celebration is never over and will continue throughout the rest of your career! Now let’s talk about my two other favorite things – it’s almost time for Halloween, and it’s nearly time to kick off the 19th Annual Fall Dermatology Conference: A Hybrid Conference with Lights, Camera - Action in Los Angeles! While I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Halloween, I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone to LA for SDPA’s premier Annual Fall conference.
 
As the leading source for CME credits in the Dermatology PA field, I am proud to inform you that SDPA’s CME Committee has developed a rich program with top faculty recognized for their skill, knowledge, and superior talent educating Derm PAs. The Oscar goes to the “Best CME Team” led by CME Co-Chairs Francesca Wolfe, Cynthia Griffith, Gina Mangin, and the entire team who volunteered their time to make it happen. Because of their terrific work, I can assure you that your experience will be rewarding whether you attend virtually or onsite!

If you plan to be with us in LA, I encourage you to visit the bustling Exhibit Hall throughout the day Thursday and Friday or during scheduled coffee breaks. You can check the schedule here.

Between sessions and during after-hours gatherings, I hope you will have time to enjoy Los Angeles and visit some of the city’s iconic sites and restaurants. We are particularly proud to hold our meeting at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, the tallest building on the West Coast, known for its stunning views of the legendary California sunset. Who knows, you might just run into your favorite celebrity while you are enjoying your stay!

You can take in the view during our SDPA Premiere event Thursday, Nov. 4, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM in the Spire 73 Outdoor Terrace. During this special “Evening of Glitz & Glam,” we invite you to flaunt your favorite “sparkle” as you network, dance, and enjoy terrific food and drinks.

I am happy to share a brief outline of what we have planned in Los Angeles from Nov. 4-7, 2021. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time.
