Advocacy Overview

At the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, we are steadfast in our mission to advocate for the dermatology PA profession and the patients who rely on their care. Through thoughtful outreach and effective policy engagement, we strive to improve access to timely treatments, ensure fair reimbursement practices, and advance the essential role of dermatology PAs in delivering high-quality patient care.

Our advocacy efforts are rooted in the belief that every patient deserves prompt, equitable access to dermatologic treatments and that PAs must be recognized and supported for the critical work they do. To this end, our team engages at state, federal, and regulatory levels, working to shape legislation and policies that protect and enhance patient access and PA practice rights.
