As fall begins, I’m embracing this season of change with gratitude. I’m excited to continue leading SDPA with purpose, advancing our mission while making every moment count for our members and patients.
The SDPA has implemented a new three-year strategic plan focused on Knowledge, Advocacy, Leadership, and Engagement while strengthening committees and volunteer leadership to drive impactful initiatives.
As the SDPA celebrates its 30th anniversary, I am honored to step into the role of the 31st president, with a renewed member-centric focus, a bold strategic plan, and the unwavering support of our vibrant community, we are poised to shape a promising future for DermPAs™ nationwide.
For the first time since 2017, the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) has undertaken a detailed and comprehensive nationwide survey of dermatology PAs (DermPAs™) on all aspects of their healthcare practice, including compensation and benefits. The final 2024 SDPA Practice Survey Report is now available to all SDPA members who completed the survey and will be made available to all PA members of SDPA after a six-month period.
At the age of 32, Hayley Arceneaux has achieved remarkable milestones, transcending both figurative and literal limits by not only reaching for the stars but actually journeying into space.
The SDPA is buzzing with energy and collaboration as we launch initiatives in mentorship, AI, advocacy, and professional development to empower DermPAs™. With a strong start to the year, we’re investing in new resources, updated Diplomate programming, and evidence-based education to advance our profession and support your success.
