Bio

Kim Sanders graduated from the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) PA program in 2005 and began her career in private practice dermatology. After three years in private practice, she returned to OHSU to become the first PA in the Department of Dermatology. She currently serves as an associate professor and, since 2022, has held the role of medical director for the department.

Kim has strived to be a leader in the dermatology PA community, serving as president of the Oregon Society of Dermatology Associates (OSDA), a state affiliate of the Society of Dermatology PAs (SDPA), since 2007. She is committed to dermatology education for advanced practice providers and, in 2024, launched the department’s first Dermatology APP Fellowship, where she now serves as fellowship director.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys outdoor adventures with her friends and family, including skiing, rafting, camping, and hiking.
