The SDPA is entering a period of renewal, with a focus on advancing, educating, empowering, and leading for Dermatology PAs through their strategic plan and legislative efforts, including responding to the iPledge program's issues and addressing "Step Therapy" protocols.
The SDPA is kicking off 2022 with expanded conferences in Austin and Miami and new Distance Medical Education opportunities to empower and advance PAs. Physician Assistants have again ranked 3rd in U.S. News’ Top 100 Best Jobs, highlighting the field’s growth, impact, and bright future.
As the year winds down, I look back on a fulfilling time, expressing immense pride in my fellow Dermatology Physician Assistants for their passion and the significant impact they've made. Looking ahead to 2022, I want to highlight key SDPA events, including our Annual Summer Dermatology Conference in Austin, Texas.
As the year winds down, I want to remind you to have a safe and happy holiday season, and to consider volunteering for the SDPA in 2022. Your involvement is crucial to our success, offering a chance to develop leadership skills, expand your network, and contribute to the dermatology PA profession.
As October ends, I reflect on PA Week and encourage you to continue celebrating your accomplishments as Dermatology PAs. I'm also thrilled for our 19th Annual Fall Dermatology Conference in Los Angeles, where our CME Committee has prepared an outstanding program, and I invite you to join us for networking and the "Evening of Glitz & Glam."
