I’m writing this month’s newsletter as we sit under a -20° windchill here in the Midwest, while much of the rest of the country is buried under feet of snow. At this point, it’s officially “too cold to snow” in Wisconsin—something I’m still not sure is good news or bad news. And as we brace for yet another round of winter weather, I can’t help but think of Groundhog Day… because let’s be honest, some of our clinic days can feel a little like that too.

Travis Hayden completed his undergraduate studies in 1996 at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, where today he serves as a PA educator.

Danielle has served as a DermPA™ for nearly 10 years, including serving as a preceptor for multiple dermatology clerkships before formally entering PA education.

Pamela has been a practicing PA for 20 years, including 10 years with the Veterans Affairs of North Texas, where she has specialized in dermatology since 2015.

Since joining Apex Dermatology and Skin Center in Cleveland, Ohio, DiLoreto has already made a huge impact on her practice and her patients through her efforts to expand access to care in the area.

President’s Message | October 2023

National PA Day, first celebrated on October 6, 1987, honors the founding of the physician assistant profession by Dr. Eugene A. Stead, Jr. and has grown into a full week recognizing the vital contributions of PAs in healthcare.
