2023 - DermPA™ of the Year Award
Kim Sanders, MPAS, PA-C, Winner of 2023 - DermPA™ of the Year Award
Kim serves as a dermatology PA and a PA educator at the Oregon Health & Science University, where she has forged new paths and broken-down barriers for PAs. After advocating successfully for the inclusion of PAs in the university's dermatology program, she achieved the prestigious role of Medical Director for the Department of Dermatology and is now in her second year.
She is the founder and President of the SDPA State Affiliate organization, the Oregon Society of Dermatology Associates, which serves both PA and NP members and holds an annual CME conference. Her dedication to both leading and educating PAs extends to her precepting of over 80 PA students and as a member of the JDPA's Editorial Board. She has demonstrated a dedication to patients through efforts to expand access to care at her clinic for the underserved population.
