Kristen Grippe, MPAS, PA-C, Named Interim Program Director of the PA Program, Gannon University
SDPA member and committee leader Kristen Grippe, MPAS, PA-C, in April was named Interim Program Director of the Physician Assistant Program at Gannon University in Erie, PA. Grippe is well-known within the SDPA family as a sought-after leader who serves as the Director of the Diplomate Fellowship Advisory Board, JDPA Editor and DPAF Task Force member.

Grippe’s employment at Gannon has spanned eight remarkable years highlighted by various leadership roles. Currently, she is chair of the PA department’s didactic curriculum committee and is an active member of the Graduate Council, where she serves on the executive committee. She held a seat on the MCHPS (Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences) Academic Affairs Committee, including chair of the committee, and has remained active on the Academic Community Engagement committee for the past four years. Grippe was recognized with the Service-Learning Award in 2022.
In her new role, Grippe will oversee and lead delivery of education and administration of the PA program. She will participate in the recruitment and retention of students, oversee and support students, staff and faculty associated with the program and maintain accreditation compliance.
