Dear Colleagues -

Fall is in full swing and we are just a few short days from the launch of SDPA DIGITAL!

As we approach Halloween - I have to ask: How have you approached 2020- as a Twizzler or a Pretzel stick? What do I mean by that?

 As my six-year-old son and I were discussing Halloween costumes and his excitement for all things candy, I began to ponder how I’ve approached the “new normal” of 2020. Was I flexible like a Twizzler when new challenges arose? Or was I stubborn and inflexible when never before challenges presented themselves? 

Truthfully, I’d say when the pandemic first hit, I was a pretzel stick. I was trying to figure out ways to do the same things while all around me, the circumstances demanded that I change my approach. Creativity abounded once I realized there are many ways to accomplish the same result. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you let go of self-imposed limitations. 

I am honored to work with a dynamic group of “Twizzlers”. Our motivated team of leaders and staff have been tirelessly working around the clock to make sure this conference is as engaging as it is educational! I am looking forward to learning alongside the 600+ attendees that are registered for the event.
