The SDPA Annual Summer Dermatology Conference 2017 was held at the beautiful Manchester Grand Hyatt earlier this month.

The program offered 34 hours of CME credit and kicked off with a jam packed pre-conference day focusing on cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology. This exciting program was led by Dr. Glynis Ablon and featured her colleagues Dr. Dore John Gilbert and Dr. Gene Rubinstein, all thought leaders in aesthetics and cosmetics. The evening portion of the program featured “The Art of Cosmetic Dermatology”, which highlighted the intricacies of the cosmetic consultation and featured live cosmetic demonstrations performed by Dr. Suneel Chilukuri.

The main conference program, lea by Dr. Ted Rosen, included an esteemed faculty who covered a wide variety of engaging topics, including What’s New in Pigmentary Disorders? with Dr. Amit Pandya, Melanoma Updates presented by Dr. Darrell Rigel, and Laboratory Monitoring in Dermatology presented by Dr. Joslyn Kirby, to name a few. The evenings featured an amazing cruise around San Diego Bay on Thursday evening, where attendees had the opportunity to relax and unwind along the San Diego skyline as well as a Cork and Canvas VIP reception on Friday evening that gave all in attendance an opportunity to network and showcase their artistic side!
