Travis Hayden

Travis Hayden, MPAS, PA-C is a proud certified PA working in medical education and dermatology in beautiful upstate New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Le Moyne College and upon graduating was awarded enrollment into the U.S. Navy’s Health Services Collegiate Program. Through the program he received formal training as a PA, working as a PA in military and family medicine. Since completing his tour in the Navy in 2003, he has enjoyed working in the specialty field of dermatology providing care to patients in a variety of clinical settings.

Travis is a full time faculty member of the Le Moyne College Department of Physician Assistant Studies and enjoys guest lecturing as a clinical instructor for the SUNY Upstate Medical University PA Program and the Le Moyne College Family Nurse Practitioner Program, as well as other PA graduate and fellowship training programs nationally.

Travis has a long history of service with SDPA. In 2007, he created and established the Journal of Dermatology for Physician Assistants (JDPA), the official journal of the SDPA, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief from 2007-2020, and has continued to work as the Founding Editor for the publication. He has also served on the SDPA Board of Directors, the DPAF Board of Trustees, and in numerous other volunteer roles.
