Saying Goodbye to Two Dedicated Leaders

It is with mixed emotions that I write this. It is my pleasure to congratulate SDPA members Aaron Matthew Brunner and Jane Mast on their new positions as Associate Directors of Dermatology Clinical Sales with Novartis. They will both make a great addition to the Novartis team. That being said, this will leave a void with the SDPA, as they have both diligently served the SDPA for many years.

Matthew BrunnerJane MastMatthew began his leadership with the SDPA serving as Director at Large in 2012 until he was elected as President Elect in 2014. Since his three-year term serving as President Elect, President, and Past President, he has been the CME Director of Conferences.

Jane’s leadership began in 2011 when she served as the Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee prior to being elected to the Board of Directors as Director at Large in 2014. In 2017, she was elected President Elect.

Due to the nature of their new positions they will both have to step down from their current SDPA positions to begin their new adventures.

As the current President of SDPA, I have learned so much from both Matthew and Jane. I personally look up to each of them and look forward to what they will continue to do to promote advancements for physician assistants in dermatology.

Please join me in congratulating Matthew and Jane on their new positions. We thank them for their many contributions to the SDPA and wish them all the best!
