SDPA members have access to a wide range of valuable member benefits. Below is a summary of benefits and which memberships have access.
A physician assistant who practices dermatology full or part time and is supervised by a board certified/board eligible dermatologist.
Physician assistant, who has a strong interest or practice emphasis in dermatology, but whose supervising physician is not a board certified/board eligible dermatologist.
Health professionals or individuals employed by government agencies who do not qualify for any other membership category, who have an interest in dermatology and desire to be affiliated with the SDPA.
A student enrolled in a CAHEA, CAAHEP, or successor agency approved PA program, or an AAPA approved program. Student membership includes SDPA student website access, reduced CME costs, information on dermatology rotations, and mentoring.
A board certified/board eligible dermatologist who currently supervises a Fellow member of the SDPA and is interested in promoting their use as an integral part of the health care delivery team.
A physician assistant with 20 years of SDPA Fellow membership, 5 years of SDPA leadership or committee involvement who has been approved by the SDPA Board of Directors. Learn more

The SDPA offers more than 100 hours of CME training through it's online learning center at any given time and has two annual conferences per year with not only CME hours, but fantastic in-person networking opportunities. We are continuously working to provide high quality, affordable, education to the dermatology community. SDPA members get discounted rates to ALL education the SDPA offers. Some education opportunities are available only to members.
