The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) is a 501c6 non-profit professional organization composed of members who provide dermatologic care or have an interest in the medical specialty of dermatology. The SDPA is the only constituent organization of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) dedicated solely to the specialty of dermatology. As one of the largest AAPA constituent organizations, the SDPA has over 2,700 members spread out across the United States. The SDPA is the premier source for professional education, training, and networking within the field of dermatology PA’s.

Who should join? SDPA membership consists of a wide variety of dermatology professionals from dermatology PAs working with a board certified or eligible dermatologist, to PAs interested in joining the field, to students, to those working in dermatology who are not PAs such as nurse practitioners. Please select from one of the following membership types. Members is active for 1 year from the date that you join or 3 years from the date that you join, depending on the type of membership you sign up for. Auto-renewing members are also available during the join or renewal process.
A physician assistant who practices dermatology full or part time and is supervised by a board certified/board eligible dermatologist.
NEW: We are now offering a 3-year membership option for $300 (a $30 savings over three 1-year memberships!).
Physician assistant, who has a strong interest or practice emphasis in dermatology, but whose supervising physician is not a board certified/board eligible dermatologist.

Health professionals or individuals employed by government agencies who do not qualify for any other membership category, who have an interest in dermatology and desire to be affiliated with the SDPA.

A student enrolled in a CAHEA, CAAHEP, or successor agency approved PA program, or an AAPA approved program. Student membership includes SDPA student website access, reduced CME costs, information on dermatology rotations, and mentoring.
Physician (Complimentary with PA Member)
A board certified/board eligible dermatologist who currently supervises a Fellow member of the SDPA and is interested in promoting their use as an integral part of the health care delivery team. Please note that we do perform audits and checks to confirm membership criteria.
Renew Your Membership
Are you already a member of the SDPA and need to renew and/or change your member type? Login to your membership profile to renew your membership. Don’t forget to update your contact details so that we can easily get in touch with you and ensure you receive the most of your membership.
NOTE: The option to renew will be available to members 90 days before their membership expires. If you need to renew prior to that, contact a member of staff at firstname.lastname@example.org. The renewal link can be found on your member profile under "Payments & History" or in the announcements on the feed page. If you encounter any issues at all, or simply want staff assistance, email or call us and we can generate a direct payment link on your behalf.
